claiming that i was somehow wringing my hands rather than stating sage opinion. that led actor john to say this. >> i know bill o'reilly feels like america has changed and it's no longer in the control of white power. but it never really has been. it's been a false power. i mean, this country was founded by latin people. >> bill: so now i'm a white power guy. i went from analyzing the election vote, matter of factually to being david duke. isn't that nice? and this happens all day every day in the far left media and it's getting serious. the obama campaign demonized mitt romney as a predatory capitalist. as a heartless man who even participated in the death of an innocent woman. these people have no shame, none. withbut the worse part about its no one holds them accountable because most people fear the far left. they are afraid of them because they are so vicious. vicious. so here is what i really lament. we are now living in a dishonest culture. the media is totally corrupt in this country it does things that it could never have gotten away with even 10 years ago. there are entire media o

, but the folks are look for is action. >> plus, president obama and john boehner launch another effort to save the country from falling off the fiscal cliff. economists will be here to size up negotiations. caution. you are about to enter the no spin zone. "the factor" begins right now. >> hi. i'm greg gutfeld in for bill o'reilly. thanks for watching us tonight's. let's get to our top story. general david petraeus on capitol hill testifying about libya. exactly one week after resigning as the head of the c.i.a. because of an affair, petraeus testified today in closed door hearings in front of both the house and senate intelligence committees. according to those who were there, petraeus said the c.i.a. immediately suspected that al-qaeda was involved in the 9-11 benghazi attack. but for some reason, the original c.i.a. talking points had been altered. the al-qaeda reference removed. this raises all kind of questions. joining me now to answer them, senator roy blunt, a member of the senate intelligence committee who is in washington this evening. i got to say, this is isn't just a smoking gun.
situation added to the mix. at a press conference today, reporter asked senator john mccain if the fact that general petraeus' mistress kept secret documents in her possession was it more serious than the entire libyan debauchle? >> well, i say with great respect, that's one of the dumbest questions i've ever heard. okay? there is four dead americans. there is four dead americans. not a socialite. not a socialite. i'm answering your question. okay? do you want me to answer your question or do you want to interrupt? which do you want? okay. there is four dead americans. >> bill: senator mccain obviously feels very strongly that there is government mal feesance involved in the libyan chaos. but that has yet to be proved. however, the senate is doing the right thing by holding hearings trying to get the information out to we the people. look at it this way, back in 1972, richard nixon denied anything to do with a low level political break in. if the press had not been aggressive, nixon would have gotten away with it. certainly the break in at the watergate hotel was not nearly as important
the president but romney got 2% fewer votes than john mccain. by any measure a poor performance for governor romney. mccain was run fwhoog a recession. it's more about romney's failure to build on mccain's votes than obama doing anything. mr. obama won the woman vote. blacks and asians but waits the hispanic vote that really nailed romney. 71% of la teen yoz voted for the president. that is the difference in florida, virginia, colorado, nevada. other states as well. romney took white males and independents by a significant margin but when you bunch it up, it was an entitlement vote this year, american families earning less than $30,000 a year broke big for the president. 62% to 35. it was clear left wing ideology did not win the day for barack obama. big spending on federal programs did. that is the key. because many in the media would have us believe liberal ideology was confirm bid this election. it was not. however, however, secularism is certainly eroding traditional power, those americans attend religious services voted for romney 59%39%. problem is church going is on the decline. here
will get my mind right because i'm not going to buddy breathe with john boehner. you never know when he goes from lee marvin to tammy and starts sobbing openly. i'm not going to be the last guy stuck with this. i get it the country has changed. i'm all reporting for duty, sir. >> bill: so now you are going to tell me that you, dennis miller, are now giving up and are going to get in lock step with the secular progressives? >> have you ever seen the movie invasion of the body snatchers. go dead eye so they don't get hassled? that's me, man. [ laughter ] i got my -- i got my own thoughts when i'm out on the sidewalk dodging the sea pods. you are going to see this look. all right? that's exactly what you are going to see. billy, you think is a glitch. i think is a sea change. i don't think this comes back during my lifetime. i do think it comes back in the same way an alcoholic who has a brush with mortality will eventually come back. somebody will have a stroke or somebody will almost croak from alcohol will poisoning fiscally but maybe then we pull it back. this thing is not edging back.
